General directives

The musical program for all three events should include works by different composers and styles. The repertoire could include pieces written for keyboard and other percussion instruments.

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. Program that comprises works by different composers representing various styles and periods.

Maximum time: 40 minutes

Semi-Final

  1. Program that comprises works by different composers representing various styles and periods.
  2. Compulsory new Canadian work by composer Simon Bertrand (duration of 5 minutes; not included in the 60 minutes maximum timing ie 6.10).

Maximum time: 60 minutes

Final

  1. One complete concerto.
