General directives

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. One of the following works:
    • Burgmüller: Duo Op. 15
    • Rabaud: Solo de Concours
    • Rossini: Introduction, Thème et Variations
    • Weber: Concertino, Op. 26
  2. Two consecutive movements (including the slow movement) of the Concerto in E flat by Krommer, the Concerto in B flat by J. Stamitz or the Concerto K. 622 by Mozart.
  3. One of the following works:
    • Dunhill: Fantasy Piece
    • H. Freedman: Lines
    • Gade: Fantasiestücke Op. 43
    • Stravinsky: Trois pièces (1919)
  4. One complete work or a group of movements or one movement of your choice.

(Maximum time: 40 min)

Semi-Final

  1. One work from the classical period.
  2. One work from the romantic period.
  3. One or two works from the 20th or 21st century.
  4. A Canadian work written after 1950.

(Maximum time: 60 min)

Final

  1. One complete concerto.

(No time limit)
