General directives

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. Britten: Metamorphoses after Ovide, Op. 49 (three of your choice).
  2. Two consecutive movements (including the slow movement) of a sonata by Vivaldi, Telemann, Handel, J.S. Bach or C.P.E. Bach.
  3. One of the following works:
    • Schumann: Three Romances, Op. 94
    • Malipiero: Impromptu pastoral
    • Nielsen: Fantasiestücke, Op. 2
    • Wible: Intermède
  4. One complete work or a group of movements or one movement of your choice.

(Maximum time: 40 min)

Semi-Final

  1. One sonata or one concerto from the classical period.
  2. One major romantic work.
  3. One or two works from the 20th or 21st century.
  4. A Canadian work written after 1950.

(Maximum time: 60 min)

Final

  1. One complete concerto.

(No time limit)
