General directives

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. One etude in the following list:
    • Bach-Grandjany: Etudes Op. 45, No. 2 or 12
    • Posse: Études de concert
    • Salzedo: Five Poetical Studies
    • Schmidt: Etude No. 6
  2. One work from the 17th or 18th century.
  3. One sonata of your choice.
  4. One complete work or a group of movements or one movement of your choice.

(Maximum time: 40 min)

Semi-Final

  1. One work from the 17th or 18th century.
  2. One major work from the French repertoire.
  3. One or two works from the 20th or 21st century.
  4. A Canadian work written after 1950.

(Maximum time: 60 min)

Final

  1. One complete concerto.

(No time limit)
