General directives

Notice: Your repertoire list must comply with the “Repertoire Guidelines”, as specified in the rules.

First Elimination

  1. One or two works written for lute, vihuela or ancient guitar.
  2. One or two works from the baroque period.
  3. One or two works from the classical or romantic period.
  4. One or two works of your choice.

(Maximum time: 40 min)

Semi-Final

  1. One work by one of the following composers:
    J.S. Bach (for lute, violin or cello), Sor, Giuliani, Paganini or Aguado.
  2. One work from the romantic period ex.: Tarrega, Llobet, Granados, Albeniz, etc.
  3. One work from the modern or contemporary period.
  4. One or two works of your choice.
  5. A Canadian work written after 1950.

(Maximum time: 60 min)

Final

  1. One work written for classical guitar and orchestra (minimum 20 minutes).

(No time limit)
