First Elimination

  2. One of the following works (Concerti: two movements including the slow movement):
    • Desenclos: Prélude, cadence et final
    • Milhaud: Scaramouche
    • Dubois: Concerto
    • Tomasi: Concerto
    • G. Lacour: Pièce concertante
    • W. Karlins: Music
    • Villa-Lobos: Fantasia (soprano)
    • Mihalovici: Chant premier
  3. One work written after 1970.
  4. One complete work or a group of movements or one movement of your choice.

(Maximum time: 40 min)

Semi-Final

  1. One of the following works:
    • Berio: Sequenza IXb
    • Husa: Concerto (first 2 mvts)
    • Tisne: Espaces irradiés
    • Tisne: Music for Stonehenge
    • Mefano: Periple
    • Lauba: Hard
    • Masche: Aulodie
    • Denisov: Sonate
  2. One or two works of your choice.
  3. A Canadian work written after 1950.

(Maximum time: 60 min)

Final

  1. One complete concerto.

(No time limit)
